Directions

• Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour your cake pan or line it with parchment paper.
• In a medium-sized bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir until well mixed.
• In a large bowl, beat the butter until it’s creamy and smooth. Gradually add the sugar, continuing to beat the mixture until it’s fluffy.
• Beat in the eggs, one at a time, ensuring each egg is incorporated before adding the next. Stir in the vanilla extract.
• Now, add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk. Begin and end with the flour mixture. Stir well after each addition.
• Warm up your cannabis-infused coconut oil so it’s liquid but not hot. Stir the cannabis oil into the cake batter until it’s thoroughly mixed in.
• Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan. Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
• Let the cake cool in the pan for about 10 minutes. Then, remove it from the pan and let it cool completely on a wire rack.
• Cream Cheese Frosting that would pair well with the cake.
• In a large bowl, beat the softened butter and cream cheese together until well blended.
• Add the powdered sugar, one cup at a time, and continue to beat until all the sugar is incorporated.
• Stir in the vanilla extract and beat the frosting for a few more minutes until it’s light and fluffy.
• Once the cake has cooled completely, you can frost it. Start by placing a dollop of frosting on the top of the cake, then spread it towards the edges with a spatula or a butter knife.
• If the cake is a layer cake, repeat the process with each layer. If you want to frost the sides of the cake, apply a thin layer of frosting all around the sides, then go back and add more frosting if desired.
